Welcome to Costa Rica Grocery Stocking. By using our website or submitting a service request, you agree to the terms below.
Costa Rica Grocery Stocking provides pre-arrival grocery shopping and delivery services to vacation rental properties in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Submitting a request through our website does not guarantee service. Orders are only confirmed after we review your request, provide a quote, and receive full payment.
To place an order, you must submit the reservation form with your arrival and property details, complete and return the grocery list we send by email, review and approve the quoted total, and submit payment as instructed. We recommend submitting your list approximately one week before arrival to allow sufficient time for quoting, approval, and payment processing. Orders are not confirmed until payment has been received.
You will receive a detailed quote outlining grocery costs and delivery fees prior to purchase. Grocery pricing reflects current in-store market pricing at the time of purchase and may vary due to availability or supplier changes. Payment must be completed before groceries are purchased and delivered. Payments are processed through secure third-party providers, and we do not store full credit card information on our servers.
Clients must provide accurate property address, arrival date, property manager contact information, and access instructions. We coordinate directly with you and/or your property manager to gain access and stock the villa prior to your arrival. We are not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
Product availability in Costa Rica may vary. If an item is unavailable at the time of purchase, we may substitute it with a similar product of comparable quality or contact you for approval when possible.
Orders may be canceled prior to grocery purchasing. Once shopping has begun, grocery costs are generally non-refundable. Delivery fees may also be non-refundable depending on timing. If an item is missing or incorrectly purchased due to our error, we will refund the cost of that item. Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of arrival.
Costa Rica Grocery Stocking is not responsible for delays or issues caused by flight changes, property access restrictions beyond our control, store inventory shortages, weather events, natural disasters, or other force majeure circumstances. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
When you submit a request, we may collect your name, email address, arrival date, property details, grocery preferences, and payment-related information. This information is collected solely for the purpose of providing our service. Your information is used to prepare and fulfill your grocery order, communicate regarding your booking, send quotes and payment instructions, and coordinate delivery with property managers. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for marketing purposes.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. Only information necessary to fulfill your order may be shared with trusted third parties such as property managers or payment processors.
We may update these Terms & Privacy provisions from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page.
